Lawyers’ campaign in the form of “Long March” which was led by Aitzaz Ahsan, Ali Ahmed Kurd and many leaders of PML (N), Tehreek e Insaf, Jamaat e Islami and others have ended which started from June 9th. Aitzaz Ahsan rejected the rumors about the failure of this long march. He and his companions were committed for the reinstatements of deposed judges. Nawaz Sharif also addressed the participants of this protest and said that Musharraf will not be given now a safe passage. He will be held accountable for his wrong acts performed in past to damage the integrity and solidarity of Pakistan. He also asked the Parliament to decide the status of deposed judges according to the wishes of the people. According to survey, more than 80 percent people of Pakistan have rejected Musharraf’s policies and asking to leave this leadership. More than 300,000 participants of the long march were demanding from Musharraf by raising the slogans, “Go Musharraf Go”

Nawaz also appreciated GEO Tv channel for its efforts to cover all this campaign since last year. Even Musharraf threatened GEO Tv to shut down its live telecast with two very famous programs, Capital Talk and Meray Mutabiq. Some aggressive young people tried to go towards Presidency house but they were restricted to do so.

Most of the people are calling this long march as a start of big revolution.
