Non-bailable arrest warrants have been issued by the local court of Lahore against 11 persons including Pervaiz Elahi, former chief minister.

When Pervaiz Elahi was chief minister, a case was lodged against Dr. Maqsood who was alleged of criminal assault against a girl during earthquake of 2005 when she was brought to Mayo Hospital, Lahore but later on, nothing was proved in this case.

After this, Dr. Maqsood filed a petition for lodging case against those 11 persons but they did not appear before court. So, the court has ordered non-bailable warrants of 11 persons including former chief minister and chief secretary of Punjab.
