Secretary General of PML (Q), Mushahid has said that there are only two options before Musharraf either should face impeachment or resign from his post. He has further explained that Musharraf does not have option to use 58 2(B) because political forces and people will not support him.

Many other leaders of PML (Q) and army men have also advised Musharraf to resign within 24 hours instead of facing the impeachment. Now, Musharraf has also started thinking over this option of resignation. Many top men of PML (Q) have also started to contact PPP instead of PML (N). It was also told that a charge sheet against Musharraf had also been included in impeachment process which would contain issues of Kargal and missing people.

Some other reliable sources confirmed that Musharraf would resign on August 9^th or 10^th and would stay in Karachi.
