Makhdoom Jamil Ul Zaman, son of Makhdoom Amin Fahim has resigned from his provincial ministry in Sindh Cabinet. He sent his resignation to chief minister of Sindh by fax from Dubai. This was a reaction over PPP’s attitude with his father.

Talking to the press, Amin Faheem said that it was his own decision and would not interfere. He has further explained that he will respond in a similar way in which he is being treated by his party. He admitted that he would never quit party and his loyalties would always remain with his party.

He has added that two provinces of country are burning and these should be saved first instead of impeachment process. On this occasion, Federal Minister Khurshid Shah said that he had taken Amin Fahim in confidence to support for impeachment. Amin Fahim also vowed not to support the dictatorship in any way. Khurshid Shah futher added that contacts were being established with MQM to support the impeachment process against Musharraf.
