PML (N) leader, Mian Nawaz Sharif has also nominated Makhdoom Javed Hashmi as his presidential candidate. This has been announced after PPP declared Zardari as its candidate for presidential polls to be held on September 6^th.

Nawaz Sharif said that Javed Hashmi would be a nominated candidate from PML (N) against Asif A. Zardari if his party would quit the coalition in case of non-restoration of deposed judges till Monday.

Sources have also claimed that Makhdoom Javed Hashmi has been directed to return back immediately from US. It was also stated that this decision of Javed Hashmi as a presidential candidate had been finalized after consulting coalition partners.
