Senior leader of PPP, Senator Raza Rabbani has said that Asif A. Zardari has been nominated as a presidential candidate by the central executive committee of PPP. He further told the reporters that the leaders from PPP, Sherry Rahman, Khurshid Shah and Syed Qaim Ali Shah had informed about this decision of PPP to the leaders of PML (N) including Shahbaz Sharif, Ahsan Iqbal and Ishaq Dar.

Talking to media about the restoration of judges, Raza Rabbani briefed that the deposed judges would be restored but no time frame would be given right now.
