President Asif Ali Zardari said in his address to the joint session of Parliament today on economic crises, “We will ensure exchange rate stability to build our foreign exchange reserves and revival of investor’s confidence. Government has eliminated all subsidies to give relief to the common man. Crop insurance scheme will be introduced soon. Agriculture is on our top priority to provide food security to the people of Pakistan.”

He further said in his address, “I have asked all provinces to establish housing colony for media at low cost.”

He also said, “People of northern areas must get their rights and will favor to re-name NWFP as Pakhtoonkhwa.”
