Pakistan government officials informed that the head of Tehreek e TalibanBaitullah Mehsood, Tehreek e Taliban Leader Pakistan, Baitullah Mehsood passed away at the age of 34. He had been suffering from diabetes, hypertension and kidney problem for last several months. A spokesman of Tehreek e Taliban, his other close associates and doctor have denied these rumors and said that he was “fit and well.”

Baitullah Mehsood was born in 1974 and fought efficiently against Russia in Afghanistan at his early age. He had been leading Tehreek e Taliban Pakistan organization since December 2007. He was also accused of being involved in assassination of the leader of Pakistan People Party (PPP), Benazir Bhutto.
