President of Supreme Court Bar Association Ali Ahmed Kurd has said that Government has accepted
Muhammad Iftikhar as chief Justice of Pakistan by announcing protocol during his 12-day visit to New York, USA starting from November 16th.
During this visit, Chaudhary Iftikhar will be awarded a “Medal of Freedom” by Harward Law School on November 19th which has been awarded to only two personalities in the 360 years history of Harward School.
Kurd has further added that Chaudhary Iftikhar would be given a protocol by Pakistan Embassy in New York. For this visit, Chaudhary Iftikhar has been issued a diplomat passport and visa. Kurd vowed to lead lawyers’ movement with the same passion till the restoration of Chaudhary Iftikhar as a Chief Justice of Pakistan.
