National Assembly of Pakistan has passed Industrial Relations bill of 2008 today. PML-Q and MQM supported this bill while PML-N opposed and walked out of the house.

Prime Minister Gilani said that the removal of anti-labor laws was agenda of Pakistan People Party. He has added that with the approval of this bill, a promise made by Benazir Bhutto with the poor labor class, has been fulfilled now and has declared it as a Labor friendly legislation.

Federal Minister Mian Raza Rabbani said that we would remove 17^th amendment and 58(2) B soon but it could take some time. While on the other hand, MNA of PML-N, Ayaz has said that this government should first reverse all black laws of dictator and restore original constitution of 1973. There was no need of passing this law.
