Ali Raza, President of National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) has said that Pakistan has a great potential to face financial crises.
Commenting on an overview on global financial crises and its possible impact over Pakistan’s economy and banking industry, he has stated four strong reasons that Pakistan can face these global financial crises. Firstly, 95% population of Pakistan has their own house. Secondly, Pakistan has huge agriculture potential and these products can also be easily exported. Thirdly, Pakistan has big sources of capital which exists mostly in Arab world, China and luckily, Pakistan has good relations with all these countries. Fourthly, size of population of Pakistan provides large domestic market.
