Pakistan’s Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that Pakistan might seek
custody of Ajmal Kassab for further investigations but India rejected this demand in the next moment.
Rehaman Malik said, “If our investigators recommend, we will ask India for access to Ajmal Kassab. We have asked India for more information so that we can go to court.
Indian External Affairs Ministry said, “On what basis do we send Ajmal Kassab there? Crime was committed on Indian soil and there is no possible way to handing over Ajmal Kassab to Pakistan. Logics and reasons demand that Pakistan should give the other suspects to India who have been arrested in the wake of Mumbai attack.
