Ameer of Jamaat e Islami (JI), Qazi Hussain Ahmed has said that JI hasLong March, Sit-In accepted lawyers’ invitation to participate in movement and sit-in outside the Parliament House for the restoration of deposed judges.

Sources said that Qazi and his party would take participate in this planned protest from February 16-20, 2009 to support the lawyers’ movement. He further blamed US for interference in internal affairs of Pakistan. He emphasized that strong judiciary headed by Justice Iftikhar could provide solution to all these prevailing problems being faced by our country.

Qazi said that Justice Dogar was retiring on March 21, 2009 therefore government must notify the restoration of Justice Iftikhar before their protest march.
